The
day started quietly at Dave & Buster's parking lot,
in the shadow of the I-8/I-805 freeway interchange.
The
FTC truck arrived, and we learned lots about how to hang
banners! Here's Rick Hoelck, Garth Kinsell, and Gill Witte
(FTC)
Many
thanks to Silva Bungay for his help with the banner on the
roof, and during the rest of the event. Paul-Michael Dekker
(on cinder blocks) and Rick Hoelck, both of Intercept Hunger.

with the help of many experienced equipment operators, the
food from Feed The Children was unloaded. Here goes the
first pallet... This shows Herman Bond with Garth Kinsell
operating the forklift

onto the various receiving trucks.

The
crowd of people and children from the various organizations
watched the action and got ready to eat inside.
